Some other Open events happening elsewhere in the UK...

www.drawntothevalley.co.uk - The Drawn to the Valley project brings together artists from across the Tamar Valley area. Our aims are to promote art within the area for the benefit of both the public and the artists by putting on a series of exhibitions and an Open Studios event. It is hoped that the project will help contribute to the wider regeneration of the local economy and to the promotion of the Tamar Valley as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and part of the World Heritage Site.

www.seos-art.org - Sout East Open Studios takes place every June and is the largest open studio event in South East England.

www.artsnetbeds.org.uk - We are a vibrant artist-led organisation promoting original works of art and craft created by artists based in Bedfordshire. The work produced by our members covers the complete spectrum of visual arts - from watercolour and oil painting, through ceramics and sculpture, to beadwork and hat making.

www.openstudiosnetwork.co.uk - A National organisation which aims to promote and support the development and sustainability of multi-site open studios events.

www.dorsetvisualarts.org - Dorset Arts Weeks, a pioneer of open studio events in the South West, Dorset Art Weeks started in 1992 and has grown in size and success with each biennial event. DAW2008 had over 800 particpating artists at 340 venues.

www.welcombearts.com - Now in it's 4th year, the event gives you the chance to visit the studios of artists, designers and makers in the beautiful village of Welcombe on the North Devon coast; to see where and how their work is created and to buy or commission work from them.

www.crouchendopenstudios.co.uk - Crouch End Open Studios, held in May, all studios within walking distance of the Crouch End Clock Tower. Small but Selected.

www.aoh.org.uk - The biggest free arts festival in Britain. View work of all kinds ranging from painting, printmaking and sculpture to ceramics, jewellery, glassware and textiles. Meet the artists and buy work directly from them.

www.suffolkopenstudios.co.uk - Suffolk Open Studios is an established, well known and respected art organisation, run by artists for artists and art lovers. Our aim is to promote the creation and appreciation of the visual arts in Suffolk by opening our studios to the public collectively in June, offering an insight to our workings and holding various exhibitions throughout the year.

www.melbournefestival.co.uk - Melbourne Festival: The annual festival of Art & Architecture in the attractive Derbyshire market town of Melbourne. Over the weekend of 12 & 13 September, the historic centre of the village opens its doors to professional artists, sculptors, potters and painters.

www.h-art.org.uk - Herefordshire Art Week: 12 - 20 September 2009. Visit 131 studios and exhibitions featuring hundreds of artists and designer-makers located across this beautiful border county. Most are open daily 11am-5pm.

www.wandsworth.gov.uk - Wandsworth Open House: Whether you have visited before, or are new to the event, we have no doubt that you will be inspired, delighted and very tempted to buy from the wonderful range of artists who take part in our open house weekends. Saturday 3 to Sunday 4 October and Saturday 10 to Sunday 11 October. 11am - 6pm.

www.somersetartworks.org.uk - Somerset Art Weeks 2009 features group exhibitions, community projects and events. The event showcases a diverse range of visual arts from pottery and painting to new media and installations.

www.nf-arts.co.uk - Artists and Makers around the New Forest open their studios and come together as groups to show their work to the public during a week in May. Visitors not only get to see fine art but also travel extensively through the beautiful New Forest.
