SARAH DYER has lived in Brixton for 25 years. She creates functional and decorative ceramics in porcelain and stoneware. She works from a tiny home studio in her garden and is also part of the vibrant ceramics community at The Kiln Rooms in Peckham. Many of her pieces are decorated with sprig moulds produced using casts created with flowers from her own small city garden and from found objects collected during her extensive travels. CAROLYNN RUSS has been living in Lambeth for over 20 years and her local everyday life inspires her acrylic paintings – particularly scenes from Brockwell park and Brockwell Lido (but she also loves drawing chickens and dogs too)! Originally trained as a textile designer – this background emerges in her artwork through her love of colour and particular eye for detail and pattern.
