How often do you walk past an artist’s studio without knowing what is happening behind the door?
That is one of the pleasures of Lambeth Open. On 3rd and 4th October, artists and makers across the borough will open their workspaces and homes to visitors. You can wander through your own neighbourhood and discover paintings, prints, ceramics, photographs, jewellery, sculpture and much more.
Lambeth is home to an extraordinary variety of creative talent, from established artists with decades of experience to emerging makers developing exciting new ideas. There is no ticket and no need to be an art expert. Just turn up, look around and talk to the artists.
Lambeth Open is about discovering creativity where you live, and perhaps finding a new favourite artist along the way.
