There is something special about an object that has been made by hand. You can see the evidence of the maker in the surface, the texture, the tiny variations and the decisions made during the creative process.
Lambeth Open 2026 includes a wonderful selection of makers working with ceramics, jewellery, wood, metal and other materials. From functional ceramics designed for everyday use to jewellery and imaginative handmade objects, these are pieces made to be looked at, handled, worn and lived with.
The artists and makers will be there to explain how their work is produced – and many will have work available to buy.
