Esther Sebastian is an oil painter, originally from Hamburg, Germany, with a studio in Herne Hill. She studied at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and has maintained a dedicated studio practice for over thirty years. Working from observation, memory, and direct experience, her paintings explore light, movement, and atmosphere through expressive brushwork, balancing representation with abstraction.
